Earlier this year, I went through my own journey with cancer and while I was going through some pretty intense rounds of chemotherapy, my overwhelming feeling was gratitude for the amazing support network that I had around me that was caring for me, and importantly my young family, while I was in hospital for the most part of 6-8 weeks.... This did though get me thinking about what do people do if they do not have a similar network of support....??

Wanting to turn my "shituation" in to something positive.... I did some research from my hospital bed, and reached out to The McGrath Foundation. Their mission to provide cancer care support via their amazing nurses to both the patient and their families really resonated with me, and I started to think about how we as a business could help raise some funds.

It seemed only fitting to create a special product that we could use to raise funds. The concept of a Pink Margarita really resonated with both our team and the McGrath Foundation team. Aligning with other "Pink" fundraising events on over this summer. Mikey (Mr C product director) has created an amazing cocktail... Naturally coloured with Hibiscus and twisting a classic Margarita with notes of Rhubarb and Pink Grapefruit, our Pink Margarita has a slight sour cola taste, punctuated with pretty floral fruits of the rhubarb and hibiscus. It will be available in both our 750ml bottle format and our 250ml retail cans.

We are really proud to be donating 50% of proceeds from this sku to help fund McGrath Foundations incredible work.
